http://www.macromedia.comwhich holds quite a few demo versions of commercial XObjects. For free or shareware XObjects, look at the Director Web site and marvyn hortman's sharedcast ftp site:

There are also a large number of XObjects on Gray Matter Design's MediaBook
CD for Director (see section 4.2 for details).
If all these fail, try posting a query to the Direct-L. Someone may have or know of just the XObject you want, or they may be in the process of writing it. If all else fails, you may just find someone willing to write it for you (though that may not come cheap!)
