American Association of Teachers of French
provides information about the culture and language of the French-speaking world for French teachers, students, and other francophiles. It is being developed and managed by the Telematics Commission of the American Association of Teachers of French and is hosted by the University of Texas at San Antonio.

is a collection of connections to the 'World-Wide Web' of Internet sites for language learners.
Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA)
studies multilingualism and multiculturalism and advances the quality of second-language teaching and learning by conducting high-quality research, sharing research-based and other forms of knowledge across disciplines, and extending, exchanging, and applying this knowledge in the wider society. CARLA is a new initiative devoted to second language teaching, learning, and assessment and involves faculty members from the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Education in linguistics, languages, and literatures. It is part of the Institute of International Studies and Programs at the University of Minnesota
Dartmouth College Language Resource Center
includes information about the Language Resource Center as well as a compilation of resources for foreign language and culture teaching and learning.
EX-CHANGE
(Electronic, Xross Cultural, Hypertextual Academy of Non-native Gatherings in English) provides an opportunity for non-native English speakers to improve their English and express themselves through the use of English, and creates a unique source of knowledge and insights about different cultures from people whose ideas would otherwise not be likely known to English speakers due to language barriers. To accomplish this mission, EXCHANGE publishes writings of non-native English speakers from all over the world
Foreign Languages for Travellers This page was created in order to help travellers learn a few essentials of a foreign language and thereby enable basic communication while travelling. There is a list of common words and phrases translated into the language you choose; sound files are associated with each so you can hear what that word or phrase sounds like.
Universal Survey of Languages
is a project proposal for a core general survey of the world's languages, a general introduction to linguistics, and, naturally, the ability to index many other documents of one sort or another- scholarly works, music, whatever. A solid reference work at the center, as an anchor, and the live, in-the-trench, battlefields of linguistics at the edges.
