Originally from Illinois, Angela obtained a B.S. in zoology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale before moving onto the National University of Health Sciences in Lisle, IL. At NUHS, she earned an additional B.S. in Human Biology and a Doctoral degree in Chiropractic Medicine (D.C.). Angela has been teaching at Glendale Community College in the Biology Department since 1998.

Angela is extremely passionate about teaching and has always been interested in finding ways to enhance student understanding. She became involved with the NSF funded Systemic Reform in Science (SyRIS) program through MCCCD and the Multiple Intelligences/Learning for Understanding program at GCC to augment her teaching skills, incorporate multi-disciplinary facets into her classroom, and to improve student comprehension.
