DESTINATION: MARICOPA!

The retreat is over, but there are still things to see here. Check out the evaluation comments and the list of available presentation files.

We have kept it home this year. Yes, Ocotillo Retreat 2000 will be held at two of our sister colleges: Tuesday, May 16 at Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) and Wednesday, May 17 at Mesa Community College (MCC).

You and more than 240 Maricopans, including students, staff, and faculty will experience a full technology agenda at both colleges, including showcases, demonstrations, presentations, and discussions on a broad range of technology uses and issues.

Be ready to take in an open room full of technology showcases that include:

  • Student technology projects, including a student designed hydrogen engine
  • Maricopa Recruiter
  • Virtual Reality Technology
  • DVD video review of Technology at SCC
  • Students and WebCT
  • E-Commerce at PVCC
  • Arizona@Australia
  • GED Preparation Online
  • Using the Web to Support Writing in ESL Classes
