Higher education faces a constant challenge to maintain its historic stability while changing to meet current needs. This is especially true as a result of impact the information technology. Not only has information technology provided a range of new tools for faculty, students, staff and administrators, but the current generation of learners bring different attitudes and aptitudes to college based on their exposure to IT. The presentation looks at the role of IT, emerging models and a set of steps institutions can take to improve their ability to sense and respond to change.

Group Discussions: Chart the course for the New Action Groups- First find your locations! Your name tags will each have 4 numbers in sequence, corresponding to the tables you will go to for each of the subsequent café discussions. In this time period, you will get the chance to meet with one of the co-chairs of each of the 4 new Action Groups and provide input to each group. You will also meet with a different group each time.
